Micromax seems close to launching yet another budget
smartphone called the Bolt A61. The Android smartphone was spotted on
Micromax’s official website by FoneArena, though there is no price or launch
date mentioned.
Talking of specifications, the Bolt A61 sports a 4-inch
(480×800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 processor. Spreadtrum, if you remember, had invested
around $10 million in Micromax.
Other features included
are 256MB of RAM, 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, expandable memory
and a 1,500mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 3.5 hours
of talk time and up to 160 hours on standby mode.
Connectivity options
include dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and on the
software front, it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
